Ask Each Dealer the Same Equipment and Support Questions
A useful forklift dealer should ask about the load, load center, lift height, aisle or ground conditions, operating hours, attachments and delivery location before recommending equipment. Be cautious when a proposal names a machine without confirming whether it retains enough capacity at the required height.
For new equipment, compare warranty coverage, commissioning, training support, parts access and planned service. For used equipment, ask for the serial number, hours, inspection scope, stated condition, service records when available and what repairs or attachments are included. For a rental, confirm delivery, pickup, maintenance, breakdown response, allowed hours and damage terms.
Get every promise in writing. Compare the exact machine, complete delivered price, service arrangement and realistic timing. A slightly lower equipment price may not be the better choice when parts access, repair support or rental backup is weak.
