Use One Rental Specification for Every Price Comparison
A rental rate is comparable only when each proposal covers the same equipment and work. Start with the machine class, rated capacity, capacity at the required lift height, load center, mast, tire type, power source, attachments and operating surface. Include the delivery ZIP code, start date, expected term and hours of use.
Then separate the recurring rental charge from delivery, pickup, fuel or charging, taxes, maintenance, damage waiver and overtime or excess-use charges. Ask who handles planned service, what happens if the machine is unavailable and how extensions or early return affect billing.
For used equipment, confirm the actual machine or the promised condition standard, operating hours and inspection process. Put the same facts into every request before you compare forklift pricing or contract terms.
